Sudhanshu Pandey, who is known for his role in 'Anupamaa,' recently shared that he is inspired by the humility of famous actors like
Jackie Chan,
Rajinikanth,
Shah Rukh Khan, and
Jackie Shroff. Despite their huge success, these stars remain down-to-earth, which motivates Sudhanshu to stay grounded in his own career.
While speaking to Siddharth
Kannan on his YouTube channel, Sudhanshu recounted an experience from working with Jackie Chan in the Hollywood film 'The Myth.' He recalled that a crew member assigned to clean his shoes had dirty feet, and to avoid making the place dirty, Jackie Chan took a cloth and wiped Sudhanshu's shoes himself.
Sudhanshu was amazed and thought to himself how incredible it was, and the incident taught him the importance of staying grounded.
Sudhanshu also reflected on his experience working with Rajinikanth in the film 'Robot 2.0,' acknowledging Rajinikanth's global stature as a legendary figure in the film industry. Despite being revered internationally, Sudhanshu noted Rajinikanth's remarkable humility and grounded nature, emphasizing how the superstar's down-to-earth demeanor left a lasting impression on him.
Sudhanshu spoke of his brief encounter with Shah Rukh Khan at Esha Deol’s wedding, noting that despite his immense global fame, SRK remains genuinely humble at heart. He also praised Jackie Shroff for his humility, contrasting it with what he perceives as a lack of humility among many Bollywood actors. Sudhanshu highlighted Shroff's down-to-earth nature, referring to him as a 'dharti putra' (son of the soil) and commending his efforts to raise awareness about nature and the environment.
Sudhanshu contrasted his experiences with the general attitude in Bollywood, suggesting that humility is rare among its stars and that pretense is prevalent in the industry. He reflected on the double-edged nature of showbiz, noting that success can often lead to arrogance. Sudhanshu emphasized the importance of not letting success inflate one's ego and stressed the need to remain true to oneself. He highlighted the paradox of showbiz, where individuals often portray personas different from their true selves, but ultimately, at their core, everyone is just a simple human being.
