The actor, who has never shied away from expressing his love for his ladylove, is often seen coming out in defence of the actress every time she becomes a target of the trolls. After a fake report speculating on Malaika Arora's pregnancy went viral on social media, Arjun Kapoor slammed a media portal and wrote, 'This is the lowest that you could have gone and you have done it by being casual. Insensitive and absolutely unethical in carrying garbage news. This journalist has been writing such pieces regularly and getting away with it because we tend to ignore these fake gosspis while they spread across media and become the truth. This is not done. Don't dare to play with our personal lives. Malaika also reacted to her pregnancy rumours by sharing Arjun's post and called it ‘disgusting’.

A while ago, a media report suggested that the lovebirds are planning to end their relationship and walk separate ways. Arjun Kapoor, on the other hand, not only denied all such reports, but also demonstrated to everyone that they were very much in love and together. Arjun shared a loved-up photo of them together where they are seen posing stylishly for a mirror selfie. He captioned it, 'Ain’t no place for shady rumours. Stay safe. Stay blessed. Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora kept their relationship under wraps for a long time before finally coming out in the open about the same. Although they made it clear that marriage is not on their mind, reports of their impending wedding do rounds on media time and again. When rumours of their wedding began to circulate last week, Arjun responded with a hilarious post. He wrote on his Instagram Story, 'Love how everyone seems to know more about my life than I do.'

Arjun blasted a news report which apparently compared his wealth to that of Malaika's. While he later deleted his furious post, the screenshot of the same did rounds on social media. He wrote, 'It's sad & shameful to read a daft headline like this is 2021. Of course she earns well & has worked for so many years to be in a place not be compared to anyone let alone me.'

Ever since Arjun Kapoor has made his relationship with Malaika Arora official, the couple has been bombarded with questions about the age gap between them. The actor called it a ‘silly thought process’ to ‘contextualise a relationship’ on the basis of age. According to him, the media is the one who goes through the comments from people. The actor added that celebs don’t even look at 90 percent of the comments, so the trolling cannot be given so much importance, because it’s all fake. Arjun also went on to add that those same people will be dying to take a selfie with him when they meet him, so one cannot believe that narrative.
