Being a parent and raising a kid is not an easy thing to do. Especially if you are separated from your partner or unmarried, raising a child as a single parent can be a daunting experience. However, some of our Bollywood celebs have not only taken this challenge head-on in their personal life but have done a wonderful job at that.

Bollywood is full of such strong-headed women who have successfully raised their kids and share a great bond with their children. From Amrita Singh-Sara Ali Khan to Karisma Kapoor-Samaira to Sushmita Sen-Alisah and Renee, take a look at some single mothers in Bollywood and their darling daughters.
