He said, "I came to Lucknow for a few days during peak summers once. I went around Hazratganj eating street food. It was fantastic. We had the famous basket chaat and of course biryani and galawati kebabs. It was just so good. . We did shows and we would rehearse on weekends. I just never thought of it as a career then. When I quit my job and came to India, I took a sabbatical. During my sabbatical I did theatre. The plan was to try it out for a year or two and see what happens next. Karte karte, I did it for longer and after I did a bunch of advertisements and other stuff I realized that it was paying the bills so I could continue doing it. I sort of accidentally stayed on this course and then at some point I realized that I’m a full-time actor now.
