Boys love their action movies and actor
Freddy Daruwala is no exception. He’s played the supporting role in
action movies like ‘Force 2’ and ‘Commando 2’ as well as the villain in flicks like ‘Holiday’ (2014) and now ‘
Race 3’. He plays the chief antagonist in
Salman Khan’s new film and has done some kick-ass action too.
Having worked extensively in action movies, he refuses to be blasé and jumps up with enthusiasm while speaking about his favourite action films.
He reveals a few of his favourites from the genre. He says, “I like action films that have a little drama too. If you talk about just all- out action then it doesn’t get better than ‘John Wick’ (2014). I enjoy Jason Statham’s ‘Transporter’ series a lot because they combine slick action with modern technology and good old drama. I love watching Scott Adkins as Yuri Boyka in the ‘Undisputed’ movies too.” Surely, his eclectic choice of action films comes from an informed opinion. Not just that he’s a fan of Bollywood action movies too. He says, “I absolutely loved ‘Baaghi 2’ (2018). Tiger (Shroff) has done an amazing job with the stunts and action in the film. I had loved the first ‘Commando’ (2013) too. Some of Vidyut Jamwal’s moves were never-seen-before.”
Now that’s a true-blue action movie buff. No wonder Freddy’s such a sought after actor in the genre.
