When asked by a daily about the kind of films they want to make, Jackky said, "We want to make movies that go beyond just the box office numbers.

will always be number one for us. We want to be involved with projects that connect with people. In Sarbjit's case, for example, we were shocked to learn about how he was really treated. That's precisely why we decided to go ahead with this film because we wanted to be involved in the process of telling his story. Deepshikha added, "Earlier, money dictated scripts. But now, it's the other way round. People want to see movies that move them. That's the cinema we want to be involved with."
