The actress who was last seen in Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Lakshmi' said, "It's a dream come true to be working with him in 'Dhanak' after 'Lakshmi'. He is a fantastic director. I have been a fan of his movies even before

happened in my life. And when I was cast for 'Lakshmi', I never knew initially that it was a Nagesh Kukunoor film. And I am blessed to have got an opportunity again to work with sir."

Talking about the movie, the actress was quoted as saying in a report, "I play a highway robber with a good heart. The film is all about how to overcome your disabilities both physical and mental. Everyone has a disability. We sometimes think we should have been taller, more beautiful and many other things. 'Dhanak' talks about how none of these so called mental disabilities will impede us if we stay focused on what we are seeking to get."
