According to India Today, the authorities promptly dispatched 10 fire department vehicles to extinguish the flames and evacuate residents. Preliminary investigations suggest a short circuit as the probable cause of the fire, though an official confirmation is awaited. Singer Shaan’s presence at the building during the incident remains unconfirmed, and he has yet to state the matter.

The second incident took place later on Monday evening at the Kurla Scrap Market in Mankhurd. A massive fire engulfed the area, destroying 30 to 40 warehouses.
