Enough of cricket! For all those who were starved of films for the past month and a half, movies are returning to cinema-halls and in good measure. We give you a lowdown of the top 10 films to watch after the World Cup is done with this weekend.
1. Faltu
Director: Remo D’Souza

Cast: Jackky Bhagnani, Pooja Gupta, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi

Choreographer Remo D’Souza turns director with his campus caper which re-launches producer Vashu Bhagnani’s son, Jackky Bhagnani and promises to be a fun ride with Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi adding loads of humour.

This edge-of-the-seat crime thriller promises to have twists every ten minutes. Kangana Ranaut will play a cop for the first time. The film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Jimmy Sheirgill, Boman Irani and Shahana Goswami has been shot in Greece, Istanbul and Bangkok.

Reviving theNo Entry magic, Anees Bazmee gets back to making another comedy out of adulterous relationships. Sonam Kapoor plays the role of a tennis player in the film and will be romancing Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol. Irrfan Khan plays the role of Bobby Deol’s boss and has a funny character. For the time-being Mallika Sherawat’s item number is making news.

Produced byRakyesh Mehra this film has Om Puri, Deepak Dobriyal and Shreyas Talpade play three brothers who are fighting over their property resulting into a hilarious ride. TV star Ragini Khanna makes her Bollywood debut with this film.

Said to be on the lines of the Hollywood Oscar winner Traffic, Dum Maaro Dum explores the drug mafia in Goa. Abhishek Bachchan plays a narcotics cop in this film. It isan edgy, coming of age, cop-caper with Goa playing a full-fledged character and has lot of thriller elements thrown in. The film also marks debut of Telugu superstar Rana Daggubatti in Bollywood.

Zokkomon is an action adventure film about an ordinary boy who rises to meet extraordinary challenges. Left to fend for himself, Kunal discovers the hero within and begins his epic journey of adventure and transformation to become Zokkomon.

Sendhil Ramamurthy makes a comeback to the Indian screen (after the dreadful It’s a Wonderful Afterlife) with an interesting thrill-ride Shor directed by the duo who made the witty and wacky film 99.Tusshar Kapoor, Nikhil Dwivedi, Pitobash and Preeti Desai are also a part of the film.

With the 3D format gaining popularity world over, Vikram Bhatt employs it in Bollywood for his next horror film Haunted. Years ago Ramsays had made Saamri – the first Indian horror film in 3D. Haunted is Vikram's most expensive and most ambitious project till date. He completes his horror trilogy after 1920 and Shaapit with Haunted.
