and Ravi Bhatia in the lead had been stuck in a long battle with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for censorship. Now it has finally got the green signal from the

Censor Board

.
Based on the contemporary social subject of religious conversions, the film and its makers had been locked in months long battle for an appropriate certification for the film given the highly sensitive nature of the subject of the film.

Commenting on the same director Vinod says, "Duping and cheating in the name of religion has become quite prevalent in large numbers when it comes to inter-faith marriages in our country. We now have enough official data to conclude that among the majority of reported cases of such conversions in India, girls have disproportionately been the victims. Such is the state of affairs that multiple state governments have now legislated laws around this menace."

Tiwari throws light on his months long struggle with the Censor Board. He says, "I deeply appreciate the patience and support that I received from the Censor Board. We all were aware of the highly sensitive nature of the subject of the film. And I was absolutely sure from the very inception of the film so as not to let the film turn into a jingoistic political slugfest."

The cast of the film also has names likes Vibha Chibber, Sunita Rajwar, Amit Behl, Sandeep Yadav, Sushil Singh Vijay Trivedi and Manoj Joshi as a part of the main characters. The story is written by Vandana Tiwari and music by Anamika Chauhan.
