In what seems like a bid to cash in on
Irrfan Khan's '
Angrezi Medium
' release buzz, the makers of '
Apno Se Bewafai
' are reportedly planning to release the long-delayed film on April 2. Director
Prakash Bhalekar confirmed the development and said that the film is a family entertainer with Irrfan in the lead and the supporting cast of new actors. The filmmaker was all praise for senior actor's performance in the film.
While giving details about the delay of the film, which got completed in 2018, the filmmaker attributed it to financial constraints. And all this happened before Irrfan's health deteriorated. When asked if he was in touch with Irrfan, Bhalekar said that he was unable to inform the actor of the latest development as he is not talking to anybody right now.
Irrfan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in 2018 and underwent treatment in
