Recently, the makers of
Rishi Kapoor and
Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘
Mulk
’ released the trailer of the film and almost instantly it picked up the audience’s interest. The upcoming venture is based on a true event and narrates the journey of a Muslim family trying to reclaim its lost honour. However, because of its intense subject, ‘Mulk’ received immense backlash from the fans.
Some trolls even said that the movie has been funded by terrorist groups and political parties. Hwoever, director
Anubhav Sinha gave a befitting reply to trolls with an open letter. He took to Twitter to share the open letter and explained about why ‘Mulk’ was an important subject to be made a movie on.

‘Mulk’ is produced under the banners of Banaras MediaWorks and Soham Rockstar Entertainment and also stars Taapsee Pannu, Rishi Kapoor,
Prateik Babbar, Ashutosh Rana and Rajat Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit the screens on August 3rd and will clash with ‘Karwaan’ and ‘Fanney Khan’ at the box office.
