In a show of dedication towards the country and society, Abdul Rehman Vanoo has introduced two new films – Qaumi Yak Jahiti and Some One Waiting under the banner VRA Productions with producer Sankalp Anand, son of famous lyricist Santosh Anand.
The movies will be directed by Sunil Parashar and the music will be given by Pyarelal from the famous music director pair of Laxmikant Pyarelal.The movie will have stars like Milind Gunaji, Upasana Singh and Shiela Sharma, besides many new artistes.
Vanoo said that the problems faced by the Muslim society will be addressed through these films. Sankalp said, “I always wanted to do meaningful cinema and these films will be like a mirror of truth to the society.”
Vanoo said, “Qaumi Yak Jahiti is a Farsi word, and it means national unity. The shooting of both the movies will be done in Delhi and Mumbai. The Delhi leg will be shot at Marwah Studios and Sandeep Marwah, director of Marwah Studios, will play an important role in these films.”
