MUMBAI: Several Bollywood stars, including Aftab Shivdasani, Raza Murad and Nagma, joined a walkathon along with National Association of Blind (NAB) and Bombay City Eye Institute (BCEI) here on Sunday to promote awareness about eye donation.

the world sight day falls on october 11. renowned opthalomologist quresh maskati said that eye doantion was a very simple affair requiring no paper work and that anyone, including infants, and even successfully operated patients, could donate their eyes just by simply calling the eye banks. other celebrities who were present on the occasion included jaspal bhatti, ramesh deo, seema deo, faizal khan, asha sachdev and baba saigal. sheriff of mumbai ashok mehta and giants international's nana chudasama were also present.
