DMM is currently in the midst of producing a Sunny Deol starrer, Bhaiyaji Superhitt while PNC is going on the floor with two huge new films with a stellar cast to be announced next month.

“This is our first stride in movies and we are very happy with the experience of working with PNC and the Fatso! team”, says Santosh Bhartiya, well known journalist and head of DMM, “we were able to work together as an excellent team". Fauzia Arshi, who leads movie productions in DMM, says, “We were equal partners in this venture and at every stage we were involved in the production. I brought along underprivileged kids from Naisargik Shikshan to watch a special show with the stars of the movie and they absolutely loved it!”
Meanwhile, Fatso! continues to get rave reports and a lot of support on social networking sites for director Rajat Kapoor and lead actors Ranvir Shorey and Gul Panag. Neel Bhoopalam and Purab Kohli have also won rich kudos as also actor Brijendra Kala in a small role. Anurag Kashyap told Pritish Nandy on a microblogging website that this is one of the year’s most eagerly awaited films. For those who may not know, Kamal Morarka, the reclusive owner of DMM, is a politician and businessman, who was in the news last week for acquiring the Mahatma’s relics from a London auction house. His relationship with Pritish Nandy is several years old. “I have great admiration for Kamal”, says Nandy, “and the way he runs his media business. A couple of more movies and DMM will be a serious presence in Bollywood.”
