After being a popular child artiste, Fatima Sana Shaikh began her journey as a mainstream actor with Dangal in 2016. As she looked at a fresh start, Fatima has been raring to go and has been a part of films like Thugs Of Hindostan, Ludo among others. However, the two years have been tough owing to the pandemic. As the year 2021 comes to an end, the actress looks back at the tough time she faced earlier this year during the times of lockdown.
She said, “During August, shoots were being scheduled and rescheduled. So, I wasn’t too sure, if all will go well and I could start shooting for a film any time soon then. I was missing being on set pretty badly! I wanted to get back to the thing that I am passionate about the most, which is acting. I like meeting new people, exchanging ideas and the whole atmosphere of the set. It was very heart-breaking. Especially, when you don’t get to do the one thing you love the most.”
She further added, “My journey is quite fresh and I am discovering myself with each character I am playing. I have a lot more to learn and so I wanted the lockdown to end and get into the process. I am happy that with 2021 we also moved towards normalcy and shoots began.”
While in the latter half of the year the actress got busy shooting for her projects in full swing. Right before the lockdown, this year, she got to shoot for a film starring Anil Kapoor. The experience has been quite exciting for her she says.
