Faruk Kabir's a married man

The secret is out. Faruk Kabir of Allah Ke Banday fame, claimed to be a bachelor, is actually a married man.In fact, Faruk confessed to this yesterday on one of his social network accounts. The filmmaker has been married to actress Rukhsar, who was earlier linked with Ram Gopal Varma.Rukhsar is a divorcee and she made her silver screen debut with Yaad Rakhegi Duniya (1992) and, Inteha Pyaar Ki later that year.After that, it took as many as 13 years for her to make a comeback with D (2005), an RGV production, in which she starred opposite Randeep Hooda. Later, she made an appearace in RGV’s Sarkar.Rukhsar with her husband Farukh Kabir Faruk and Rukhsarwere in a relationship for six long years before they tied the knot last year,but Faruk never mentioned her to others, not even his closefriends.When contacted, Rukhsar said, “Faruk and I fell inlove in 2005. We first met in Mumbai on March 23.” At this point, Faruksaid, “We married too on March 23 (2010). To tell you the truth, itwasn’t love at first sight. Pehle hum dost thhe, baad mein pyaarhua.”When asked about her previous marriage, Rukhsar said,“I live only in the present. Yes, I am married to Faruk and now only hematters to me. We are very happy with each other.”And Faruk isa proud husband too. He said, “She is a very brave woman. I was veryimpressed with the way she gathered herself after her bad marriage and startedleading life afresh.”Did her link-up with Varma bother Faruk?“No. It didn’t,” said Faruk, “I trust hercompletely.”But why declare the marriage after a year? RepliedRukhsar, “We wanted Faruk to settle down a bit in his career. Allah KeBanday received a lot of critical acclaim and even won him many nominations atthe Filmfare Awards. I think he is now on track.”Fair enough.But are we to expect some good news from the couple soon? Rukhsar laughed,“No!
