Farhan to tie up with Eros International

There are rumours that Excel is now in talks with Erosfor their next film Karthik Calling Karthik. If sources are to be believed, Eroshas offered Excel Rs 30 crore for the film. A source said, ���ExcelEntertainment and Big Pictures have a six-film deal. Rock On!! and Luck ByChance were part of the deal. However, Excel is not negotiating with BigPictures for Karthik Calling Karthik and will instead ink a deal with Eros,whichis almost finalised.��� Things went in Eros���s favour asBig Pictures wasn���t willing to offer Excel the amount it demanded. ���Karthik Calling Karthik, is a co-production between ExcelEntertainment and Magic Beans Films by Amit Chandra and Vijay Lalwani, who isalso the writer-director of the film. They didn���t want to settle for lessespecially when they are being offered Rs 30 crore even in these times ofrecession. Also, Farhan is very confident about the film and believes it willcatapult him into the big league.��� Ritesh Sidhwani said,���We do not have a prior commitment on Karthik Calling Karthik with anydistributor. As of now, we are still in talks with various studios and willfinalise a distributor in the next few days.��� When askedabout the Reliance deal, Ritesh skirted the issue and said, ���Yes, we havea deal but those are for some other films.
