For two decades, fans have been waiting for a reunion of their beloved on-screen friends Akash, Sid, and Sameer from 'Dil Chahta Hai', possibly to explore the theme of mid-life crisis. However, filmmaker
Farhan Akhtar has clarified that he hasn't considered continuing the storyline of the film.
In an interview with Indian Express, Farhan Akhtar revealed that the story of 'Dil Chahta Hai' never fails to interest him.
He even joked that whenever someone brings up the idea of a sequel, he is pleasantly surprised by the enduring affection people have for the film.
