Farhan Akhtar treated his fans on Instagram with a sweet picture of himself where he is seen posing with his better half Shibani Dandekar.

Wrapping her hands around Farhan, Shibani looked stunning as ever in a checkered outfit. Farhan, on the other hand, sported a rugged look in his grey hoodie and pants. The couple is all smiles for the camera in the picture. Farhan captioned the lovely picture, ‘My Checked Mate’, followed by a red heart emoji.

After dating for a few years, Farhan and Shibani tied the knot earlier this year in an intimate wedding ceremony with just friends and family in attendance.The couple has been painting the town red ever since.

On the work front, Farhan will take over his directorial reins once again for his upcoming film, ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. The movie will bring together Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt for the first time. Penned by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti and Farhan, the film is expected to hit the screens next year.
