Fans compare Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' character to his father Rishi Kapoor's Rauf Lala in 'Agneepath'

Ranbir Kapoor's latest release 'Animal' has marked a huge success at the box office. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, it also stars Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles. The audiences applauded various aspects of the film such as its music, dialogues and character appearances.
Now, Bollywood fans have compared Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' film character to his father Rishi Kapoor's role of Rauf Lala in 'Agneepath'.Fans noticed that Ranbir's character has a lot in common with Rishi's Rauf Lala. Even though these characters are from different movies, both characters share common traits of cunningness, greed, and somewhat scary behaviour.
'Animal' shows a dynamic relationship between a father and son. A father, often engaged in his work, unintentionally overlooks his son, who deeply admires him. As his son grows older, he resorts to various tactics in an attempt to gain his father's attention, unknowingly setting in motion an obsessive cycle. This eventually leads him down a dark path, evolving into a tough criminal figure.
Directed by Karan Malhotra, 'Agneepath' also starred Hrithik Roshan, Rishi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Kanika Tiwari, Om Puri and Zarina Wahab. It was theatrically released in India on 26 January 2012.
