Fanney Khan

’ and producer Vashu Bhagnani have been fighting a legal tussle since quite some time now. The well known producer had also moved to

Bombay High Court

and filed a restraining order against the film’s release this Friday. However, the Supreme Court refused to stay the release of the film.

Now, as per latest reports, Justice Pratibha M Singh in Delhi passed the interim order after taking note of Bombay High Court’s verdict from August 1st. The verdict claimed that Vashu Bhagnani’s plea was dishonest and amounted to a false case. Bhagnani had claimed in the Bombay High Court that the sole distribution rights of the movie were sold to his company for Rs. 10 crores out of which Rs. 8.5 crores have been paid.

Considering Bombay High Court’s verdict, the Delhi Court too passed its judgment which said, “The Delhi High Court said, “A party that does not come with clean hands deserves the same treatment, in view of the findings of the Bombay High Court, injunction in favour of plaintiff (Super Cassettes) is confirmed."

The High Court reportedly came to a conclusion that Vashu Bhagnani’s production house did not pay any amount to KirArj Entertainment for the distribution of the film. The court has now listed the matter for a further hearing on September 30th.
