Singer Tulsi Kumar, who worked with the composer duo in ‘Dabangg 2’, opened up exclusively to ETimes about her experience and memories with Wajid Khan. Talking about how she got to know about the news of his sudden demise, Tusli said, “I am devastated and shocked. It is totally unbelievable. I got to know about his demise last night and it was so shocking. I couldn’t believe it at first. I went online to check. I saw that the news of his passing away was shared by a lot of people and I was literally in a state of shock and I still am. All I can say is that may God give strength to Sajid bhai and Wajid bhai’s entire family. Tulsi also opened up about her experience working with the composer duo in Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer, ‘Dabangg 2’. “I have known Wajid bhai for a very long time. I have worked with Sajid-Wajid in the song, ‘Saanson Ne Baandhi Hai’ from ‘Dabangg 2’. Every time I met Wajid bhai at studios or during mix-sessions, he was such a nice human being. He would always tell me that let’s do a new song together soon. He used to praise my voice.
He was an extremely warm and beautiful human being.”“I just want to say 2020 we are done with your now just go away. This is a huge loss to the music fraternity. It is also a personal loss to me because I can never forget Wajid Bhai’s ever-smiling face,” Tulsi concluded.Wajid Khan was reportedly hospitalized a few days ago where his condition deteriorated. According to Salim Merchant, who shared his news on social media, he was on a ventilator from the past four days.
