Exclusive: This SRK’s lookalike makes Rs 30K per day for acting in Bollywood movies; watch video

From being his biggest fan, to working with his idol in Bollywood movies, Prashant Walde has had quite a journey. Today he is a go to person for filmmakers who are working with Shah Rukh Khan. “I am a handyman to directors whose films star Shah Rukh Khan. It is in his absence that they use me as a dummy to get cues for cameras and during rehearsal, to explain the actor and also for shooting cheat shots,” says Walde who’s worked in films like Chennai Express, Om Shanti Om, Don 2, Fan and numerous advertisements featuring SRK. In an exclusive video interaction, Prashant opened up about the first film he worked with SRK on.



Interestingly, in one of the previous interviews with Bombay Times, Prashant had mentioned about working as an SRK lookalike in Bollywood Parks, Dubai. The park, themed around Bollywood had him doing shows and interactions with patrons as an SRK duplicate. However, lockdown brought back Prashant to India who is looking forward to begin work soon in movies, as he makes Rs 30,000 per day working in a film as a dummy to the Jab Harry Met Sejal actor.
