Exclusive! Sooraj Pancholi opens up about his “favourite festival” Holi

Due to the pandemic, like last year, Holi 2021 will be a low-key affair. However, this hasn’t spoilt the mood for Sooraj Pancholi. He is just happy to revisit the memories of his “favourite festival”. He says, “While many would say Diwali is their favourite festival. For me it has always been the festival of colours. The problem with the former is crackers! I can’t deal with the loud noise of bursting crackers, but I certainly love colours.”
While in the north, this festival is celebrated over multiple days, in Mumbai, it is only cerebrated for a couple of days complains Sooraj, saying, “I wish it lasted for multiple days here too as the day of Holi just passes by too soon!”
Ask him to share his plans for this Holi and he is quick to add, “Every year the entire family gets together for lunch.This year too we might continue with the tradition of this close-knit family affair where my cousins and close relatives might join in for a traditional meal.”
The actor recently saw the release of his dance flick alongside Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle, who made her Bollywood debut. Sooraj is now working on his next, a biopic, where he plays boxer Hawa Singh.
