Like, the one which Shreya Chaudhry recently attended in Mexico! The actress known for her web show Bandish Bandits was in Cancun enjoying every bit of her cousin’s wedding festivities.

When I found out that my cousin was getting married in Cancun, Mexico I jumped at the opportunity. Attending a big fact Indian wedding in Cancun was quite surreal. Because I was getting to witness this and celebrate in a different country. The family got together, we had good food amidst experiencing the Mexican food and culture.”

Jaise hamare desh mein hota hai bilkul waise hi the people were warm and welcoming. Their food is vibrant, colourful and tasty. They have their own version of spices. In terms of people, everybody greets you with a genuine big wide smile and say, ‘Ola senorita’.”

She says, “I tried local street food and believe me salsa tastes much different and much better in Mexico than what I have had in India. I realised that there’s so much more to Mexican food beyond the usual nachos and the tacos. I had a conversion with local street vendor and he explained that there’s a lot of influence of Cuban and Japanese food on Mexican because of the geographic location of the country which is really interesting.”
