Exclusive! Saira Banu on Shah Rukh Khan's birthday: 'We both love him so much'

The Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and the thespian of Bollywood Dilip Kumar share a great bond. Shah Rukh Khan and Dilip Kumar's impeccable relationship is rare to find in the Indian Cinema. Saira and Dilip Kumar had expressed their love for SRK at numerous events. In fact, Saira Banu had once said in an interview that SRK is the son that she and Dilip Kumar never had. So today, as Shah Rukh celebrates his 55th birthday, ETimes got in touch with Saira- actress, and wife of Dilip Kumar to know what she has to say to her 'Mooh bola beta'.
Expressing her unconditional love towards Shah Rukh Khan, Saira said, "We both (Saira and Dilip Kumar) love him so much and we have liked him always. He is very near to us and holds a special place in our heart."
SRK is like family to both Dilip Kumar and Saira. He often visits their bungalow at Pali Hill in Bandra. A few years back, when Dilip Kumar was hospitalised, SRK along with his daughter Suhana had visited the veteran's residence as he could not visit the actor while he was admitted due to his professional commitments. Interestingly, the picture of SRK's visit to Dilip Kumar's house had gone viral on the internet.
