Exclusive: Pavail Gulati opens up about Do Baaraa, his second film with Taapsee Pannu

The year 2020 was quite special for Pavail Gulati who bagged his first film in a lead role in

Thappad

opposite Taapsee Pannu. After being a part of showbiz for 10 years the actor feels happy that he’s finally being offered projects that have him in the lead. Interestingly, his next film too features him in the lead role and is once again with Taapsee opposite him.

The actor will be seen in Anurag Kashyap’s

Do Baaraa

. Talking about the project, Pavail told BT, “I am excited to be a part of a project like this, which is a thriller. The film surprises you as it also involves time travelling. So, the project is something unique and something very special. When Taapsee and I read the amazing script we got extremely excited.”

Interestingly, the duo was to begin shooting for the film last year, but the schedule went for a toss due to the pandemic. Shares Pavail, “We have been waiting to shoot this film for a year now. The team has been in the discussion mode since a long time. Taapsee and I have been talking about the project a lot too since the subject is very new and fresh. We are doing something like this for the first time and this has kept us enthused.”
