Exclusive: Masti 4 to go on floors soon! Makers share a glimpse

Masti 4 is all set to go on floor very soon. The film series will roll its fourth part which once again brings back the trio Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Riteish Deshmukh. The three first teamed up for Masti in 2004, followed by Grand Masti in 2013 and then Great Grand Masti in 2016. While the last three parts were directed by Indra Kumar, this time it’s Milap Zaveri who’s taking the franchise ahead.



The team has unveiled the logo of the film today. Talking about the project, Milap, who takes the baton of the comic franchise ahead shares, “At its core, Masti 4 is a celebration of friendship, marriage, mischief, and the undying spirit of laughter. We want to go back to the OG for its essence and bring back laughter with a new story that will resonate and while delivering a fresh dose of hilarity and heart.” Milap has earlier directed the comedy Mastizaade (2016) and has written films like Heyy Babyy (2007), Housefull (2010), Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 (2016).



While the male protagonists have been constant the first part featured heroines like Amrita Rao, Genelia D’Souza and Tara Sharma, part two featured Karishma Tanna, Sonalee Kulkarni and Manjari Fadnis and part three starred Mishti, Pooja Bose and Shraddha Das. It is to be seen who the makers cast in Masti 4.
