EXCLUSIVE! Luv Sinha shares details on his gorgeous snowy holiday in Kashmir

The actor shares the fun her had from his recent snowy getaway.
Luv Sinha visited Kashmir recently and totally loved his break there. He shares, “It was a work trip along with a few friends where we were exploring lot of locations. I have to say Kashmir is actually a

winter wonderland

and there is a reason why people call it Heaven on Earth.”

Amid all the white, pristine scenery

All that snow around made for a stunning sight, he says
Of course, sightseeing was on the agenda and Luv says he did a lot of it. He shares, “We were exploring lot of places. I stopped by Dal Lake; I didn’t go on the shikara or stay in a houseboat as I have done that before. I went to

Mughal Gardens

and Pari Mahal in Srinagar. I have been to Pari Mahal 10 years before and it was nice to visit again. In

Pahalgam

we went to

Betaab Valley

. A few other locations were shut because of winter as there had been heavy snowfall. There were lots of places that were beautiful. One thing I did miss, was visiting the Tulip Gardens. I hope to go back and see that someday.”

'I rode a ski-cycle and we had a bonfire in the snow'

The others went skiing, but he says, “I stuck to riding a snowmobile on my own. The most exciting activity in my opinion was going seven-kms down the slopes on a ski cycle’. That’s basically a cycle without wheels. There is just a single ski below it, you have to press your heels down to stop it and there are no brakes. Thankfully the path we went down on, was a pre-decided and it was a lot of fun. But it was also a little risky and one of my friends did end up falling down badly. I also skate, but we didn’t end up ice skating. Another activity we enjoyed was a bonfire in the snow. It made for such a memorable experience for all of us.”
Luv carted his camera along to capture all the fun and says, “One of my other reasons to go on this trip was to engage in hobby I am passionate about -

photography

and I actually took three lenses with me and other camera equipment and my friends made fun of me and asked, ‘Are you an

actor

or a cinematographer?”

Tucking into local flavours
The cuisine is known to be delicious and Luv affirms: “We had lotus roots and stem, stuffed aloo dishes as well as the meat preparation. But I have to say you will find the best food in a restaurant that you least expect to find it in. Also, you must try the staple of rajma and pulao; it’s fantastic. Kashmiri pulao is unlike any pulao from any other state.”
