Kanika Kapoor is getting married to a London-based NRI, Gautam, in May. We can further add that
Kanika
has been shopping quite a lot in the recent past on her current US tour which involves 13 shows. After all, the marriage is barely 2 months away. With 10 shows in the US still to go, Kanika will hardly have time on her hands after coming back to India.
This will be Kanika's second marriage, earlier she was married to
Raj Chandok
from 1998 to 2012. Incidentally, Raj too is an NRI based in London. Kanika and Raj have three kids-1 son and 2 daughters
Kanika kicked off her career in Bollywood in 2014 with the song 'Baby Doll' which was the highlight of 'Ragini MMS 2' produced by Balaji Motion Pictures;
Tanuj Garg was the CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures then and has been a close friend of Kanika since that time.
This morning, we contacted Tanuj Garg, who elatedly said, "I'm really happy about Kanika's marriage. I'm very fond of her and we bond well when we meet. We are both incorrigible foodies, both from UP, and she began her career with 'Baby Doll', which is from a film 'Ragini MMS 2' I co-produced. She has always been gracious to credit me for her Bollywood innings. I wish her the best."
