Excited Priyanka Chopra reveals how brother Siddharth met fiancée Neelam; deets inside

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is in Mumbai to celebrate the wedding of her brother Siddharth Chopra and actress Neelam Upadhyaya. The festivities have officially begun, with Priyanka sharing glimpses of their sangeet rehearsals and family bonding sessions.


In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar India, Priyanka revealed that Siddharth and Neelam met on a dating app. Interestingly, she admitted to never using one herself, saying, “I missed out on that one. I needed to meet a real person organically. Maybe I’m old-fashioned that way.” She also expressed her happiness for her brother, adding, “For once, he was grateful for something I did! They’re so cute. I love love.”



Siddharth Chopra and Neelam Upadhyaya got engaged in August 2024, and the wedding festivities are now in full swing at Priyanka’s Mumbai residence.

Recently Priyanka Chopra shared an update from the wedding as she posted an Instagram note that read, “Shaadi ka ghar…!! And it begins tomorrow mere bhai ki shaad hai @siddharthchopra89 with @neelamupadhyaya!! sangeet practice to fam jams. So good to be home; my heart is full, and so is my schedule. Who said a wedding is easy? no one … But is it fun? Absolutely! looking forward to the next few days @drmadhuakhourichopra” The post was soon flooded with comments. One comment read, “Awww with Mama and Papa as well.” Another comment read, “Congrats to the bridal couple, and I hope to fill the place with love and your beautiful energy.”

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has taken a break from shooting her highly anticipated film SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu in Hyderabad to be part of the celebrations. PC’s previous outing was the TV series ‘Citadel.’. She also played a major role in the sci-fi film ‘The Matrix Resurrections.’.
