Raghupat Roy KapurAditya's grandfather Raghupat Roy Kapur was a filmmaker in the 1940s. Speaking about his dadaji in an interview, Aditya had revealed that back in the day, he made four films, but those films didn't work. Somehow he and his brothers found themselves back into the industry after skipping a generation. His dadaji passed away before he was born, so there was no connection or influence for them in the industry.
Kumud Roy Kapur and Salome Roy KapurAditya's father comes from an Army background. He married Salome Aaron who is a former model, dancer and a dance instructor. She had won the Miss India title in 1972.
Sam and Ruby AaronSalome's parents Sam and Ruby Aaron were qualified dance teachers. It was they who introduced the Samba dance to India. Actor Bhagwan Dada trained from them and incorporated a few steps in the film Albela.
Siddharth Roy Kapur and Vidya BalanThe eldest brother Siddharth is a film producer who founded Roy Kapur Films. He has produced films like The Sky Is Pink, Yeh Ballet, The Last Film Show, Pippa and series like Aranyak among many more under his banner.
Siddharth was married to his childhood friend Aarti Bajaj. After his divorce, he married television producer Kavita. They got divorced in 2011, following which Kapur married actress Vidya Balan on in 2012. Vidya has now completed two decades in the industry. She was recently seen in films like Jalsa and Neeyat.
Kunaal Roy KapurKunaal started his acting career with the TV show Just Mohabbat in 1997. He directed The President is Coming in 2006. He entered films with Panga Na Lo in 2007. Thereafter he was seen in films like Delhi Belly, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Kaalakaandi, Tribhanga among many others.
Kunaal is married to a ceramist Shayonti Salvi. They have two kids - a son Zahaan and a daughter Shanaz.
Aditya Roy KapurAditya made his Bollywood debut in 2009 with London Dreams. He went on to do many more films like Guzaarish, Aashiqui 2, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Fitoor, OK Jaanu, Kalank, Malang, Ludo, Rashtra Kavach Om and series like The Night Manager for which he was highly appreciated.
On the personal front he is rumoured to be dating actress Ananya Panday, who almost confirmed their relationship recently on Koffee With Karan as she said it is 'private and special'.
