Emraan Hashmi's fun cycling expedition

Check out pictures of Emraan Hashmi's cycling trip around Mumbai.... Read More

It was a different sort of outing for Emraan Hashmi recently. The actor shared a post of his cycling trip around Mumbai on his Instagram handle. From the pictures, it is evident that it was a long cycling round – the pictures show a windswept Marine Drive and Gateway of India. Sometime earlier, too, Emraan had shared pictures of his midnight cycle round along with friends on his Insta handle.

On the work front, the actor is excited about his Indo-American project, ‘

Harami

’, which is the only Indian film in the main competition at the

Busan

Film Festival. Strangely, there was very little buzz around the film when it was shot in Mumbai. In an interview, Emraan said that that been a deliberate strategy. He added that the film’s team was keen on filming guerrilla-style on the city’s streets, which was why they kept things low-key. Emraan also said that thanks to his get-up, he went unrecognised while filming in areas such as Mohammed Ali Road.

Emraan said that this was the first time he was playing a 50-year-old character and that with his salt and pepper hair, spectacles, beard and cane, it was easy to go unnoticed in Mumbai’s bustling streets. The actor said he was excited about the film going to Busan and was looking forward to the event. Apart from ‘Harami’, Emraan also has ‘

Sab First Class Hai

’, ‘

Mumbai Saga

’ and ‘

Chehre

’ in his kitty.
