', which is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam supernatural thriller of the same name. The film went on the floors today in

Mauritius

.

The film is being directed by Jay Krishnan, who had also helmed the original film. As per reports, apart from Mauritius, the film will also be shot in Mumbai. The casting for the female lead has been still kept under warps.

The original film `Ezra` features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priya Anand in the lead roles. The film was around an antique box that Priya bought from a dealer. Later, Priya and Ranjan started experiencing paranormal activities.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Emraan will be seen next in 'Chehre' with Amitabh Bachchan and 'Mumbai Saga' alongside John Abraham.
