Ekta does a quickie

Beating her earlier record of shooting LSD in a month, the producer’s next, Ragini MMS, is being shot in a record schedule of 20 days.
Ekta does a quickie
While her last film Love Sex Aur Dhokha was shot in nearly a month, Ekta Kapoor’s next Ragini MMS, a paranormal film based on a true story, is even quicker.
Apparently the film is being shot in a record time of 20 days and is ninety per cent complete. The film stars Raj Kumar Yadav of LSD fame and Kainaaz Motiwala of Wake Up Sid fame in the lead pair.
The film is co-produced by Ekta’s Alt Entertainment and I Rock Films
Ekta confirms, “The story is based on a real life couple’s experience.

We already had 50 per cent of the material and we added another half to make it more entertaining. So films like this should take 20 days max. By January 5, we will be done.”
Was it easy to wrap up so fast because of no stars involved? “You can say that. We took a decision of taking a new guy and a new girl because we wanted to make the film in a very raw manner.
We wanted the couple to look as real as possible, I mean the kind of conversation they have in their bedroom. Imagine Paranormal Activity having Kate Winslet. It would have never worked.” Ekta adds.
Giving credit to her team and co-producer for the speedy shooting Ekta says, “The director, the producer Sid Jain, and the team from our side were very clear what they wanted to do. Such films are made for smaller audiences so you need to make them cost effective, so that you keep making these movies.”
