Ayushmann Khurrana will be next seen in the upcoming quirk comedy '
Dream Girl
'. The film helmed by
Raaj Shaandilyaa see Ayushmann beautifully transform into the skin of a woman, through his voice. His character named Pooja works in a female friendship call center.
In a recent interview, director Raaj Shaandilyaa opened up about what went through his mind while writing the film. The director revealed that when he and co-writer Nirmaan D Singh started working on the film their motive was only to entertain the audience. The writer duo took into consideration many real-life incidents and scripted the story keeping in mind gender-bender characters.
Raaj further revealed that they kept in mind the incidents of fake profiles named Angel Priya that many people use to flirt with men on social media and extract money from them. The director further ensured that 'Dream Girl' is a fun film with many real-life elements in it.
The film also stars
Nushrat Bharucha,
Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Bannerjee, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma, Raj Bhansali among others. 'Dream Girl' is all set to release on 13th September 2019.
