Double celebrations
The Triple platinum disc function of Swagatham and the birthday celebrations of its lead actor, Jagapati Babu was a grand do.
SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, Tamil actor (and co-star of Swagatham) Arjun, Bhumika and her husband Bharath Thakur, Sunil, RP Patnaik and others graced the occasion.
A huge gathering of Jagapati Babu's fans from all over the state assembled at the colourful function and shouted slogans hailing his success.
"Actually, I wanted to avoid doing family-oriented films. But Swagatham proved that it has the power to pull audiences. I have completed 20 years in the industry with a credit of 75 films. I am thankful to all my fans and well-wishers,��� said Jagapati Babu. Anushka, however, was conspicuous by her absence. We wonder why?
