Diwali is India's festival, why let Pakistan overshadow it?: Mukesh Bhatt

Following the threat issued by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) to multiplexes, warning them against screening 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' this Diwali, film producer Mukesh Bhatt has spoken up. Early Tuesday morning, the producer headed to the office of the Mumbai Joint Police Commissioner seeking protection. In an exclusive interview with Bombay Times, Mukesh Bhatt said, 'Diwali is India's festival, why let Pakistan overshadow it? I've appealed to the MNS and other parties that they should allow their fellow Indians to celebrate Diwali and let this film release without a glitch.'
