Divyuenndu on dropping his surname and adding an extra ‘n’ to his first name

The famous saying goes– What’s in a name? – by William Shakespeare. Guess it applies to Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame Divyenndu. The actor who was launched in Bollywood as Divyendu Sharma, became rather famous a ‘Liquid’ the character he played in the Kartik Aaryan and Nushrratt Bhuraccha starrer.
Currently, the actor goes just by his first name, with an added ‘n’ in it. Sharing his opinion on dropping his surname, and the overall idea behind his change of name, the actor says, “I think an artiste should be known only by his first name.”
The actor cited numerology while talking to another publication earlier.He was quoted saying, “A very close friend of mine introduced me to this concept of numerology and he basically talked about the science behind it which deals with the balancing of the name and I quite liked it. It doesn't give you instant success or anything like that, but it's something I agreed with. It's based on calculations, so I like the science.”
Interestingly, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actors seem to have had change of names. His co-star Kartik was launched as Kartik Tiwari, who’s now Kartik Aaryan, like wise Nushrratt has added an ‘r’ and a ‘t’ in her first name, likewise a ‘c’ in her surname.
