Disha Patani was seen in Mohit Suri's '

Malang

' which is currently running at the theatres. The star who made her debut with 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' was only seen in supporting roles until 'Malang' came. In both her feature films so far, the actress plays the hero’s beloved who is suddenly killed. In Neeraj Pandey’s 'Dhoni: The Untold Story', she played Dhoni’s girlfriend Priyanka Jha, who passes away at a very young age in a car accident. In 'Baaghi 2', Disha commits suicide. In both, the films Disha is gone prematurely.

In a recent interview with an entertainment portal, the actress opened up on how relieved she is to not die in this one. The star reportedly said that I was relieved to not die in 'Malang'. She liked the idea of the script. She did it not because of anything else. She said luckily she didn't die.

She further added that if she is been compared to Shah Rukh Khan then she is more than happy. She knows that this kind of stereotyping exists, but it's everywhere, not just in Bollywood. It is there in the business and other fields too. She feels that her latest outing 'Malang' helped her to break the stereotype so she hopes it works for her that she survived in the film.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Disha was last seen in Salman Khan starrer 'Bharat'. She will feature in '

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai

' opposite Salman. She has roped in for Ekta Kapoor's 'Ktina'.
