Disha Patani on joining Sidharth Malhotra's 'Yodha': It's exactly what I was looking for

Actress Disha Patani recently joined the team of '

Yodha

' which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Raashi Khanna. it is an action franchise that will be directed by debutant director duo Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre.
In the film, Disha will be seen performing her own action stunts. She is a hardcore fitness enthusiast and passionate about martial arts.
Karan Johar went on to warmly welcome Disha on the team as he posted, “The phenomenal and exceptionally talented female leads of Yodha are here. Welcoming the fierce, the gorgeous and ever charming Disha Patani to the family."
Talking about the new development Disha Patani shared, "When I heard the script, it was an immediate yes for me for this project. It's exactly what I was looking for and action is something I would love to perform. I have already embarked on this journey with my directors Sagar and Pushkar and the whole team. As the title suggests, it will be a full-on action-packed movie and it is going to be a crazy ride shooting for it. I am glad that I am ending 2021 on this note."

Disha has already started prepping for 'Yodha' produced by Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan. The action franchise is scheduled to release in theatres on 11th November 2022.
