Director Param Gill's real life story could make an interesting script for a movie. Recalling the days he spent in a homeless shelter in the US, he says, 'When you are extremely hungry and there is no money for food, you realise the value of both money and food.' Sixteen years ago, he left his native place Moga (in Punjab) with limited money in his kitty, for New Jersey in US.
Despite the odds, Param, who even worked at a gas station, believed, 'Some-times, life can be very hard, but you should not stop dreaming.' After completing his Master's degree, he ended up in Hollywood. The diploma from New York Film Academy led to his first award-winning short, 'Shell Shocked Hope'. This led to more films in

Hollywood

, most recent being 'Going To America'. The film did good business at the box office and won him awards last year. The director is now venturing into

Bollywood

with '

Warrior Savitri

', an action thriller based on story of

Satyavaan

and Savitri from '

Mahabharata

'. The film is scheduled to release on August 25. His eyes light up when he says, 'From being homeless in America to the exciting world of Bollywood, there is only one constant! Good or bad time is not forever.'
