Dino Morea, who became a producer with Jism 2, has backed
Aparshakti Khurana and Pranutan Behl’s Helmet, directed by
Satram Ramani. The social satire deals with a man’s shyness to purchase condoms. Even before this film releases, the actor-turned-producer plans to team up with his Helmet gang. He will be rolling out the director next, to be written by Rohan Shankar, who has also penned Helmet.
The film also features
Abhishek Banerjee in a pivotal role. A large part of the film was shot before the lockdown and had everything gone as planned, it would have opened a few months ago this year.
Talking about Helmet and his next with Dino, Rohan said, “We had a blast working together on Helmet. Dino is a fabulous producer to work for. Satram and I also enjoyed collaborating with each other. So, we’re now working on something new. Things have turned out fine with Helmet. Aparshakti and Pranutan have done a fabulous job. The story is set in North India. It’s a satire about condoms and the best thing is that there is nothing vulgar in the entire story. I believe in adding socio-political elements in my stories while keeping it all very light and clean, with a lot of humour and excitement.”
