Dino Morea says romance feels right, But action is still his dream, says, 'I have the trappings for all'
Action avatar still a wish
While romance suits him, Dino, said in an interview with PTI that he also hopes filmmakers imagine him in a full-fledged action role. He said he has done a lot of action work in his career and feels he has the right look and energy for it. “I think I’ve the trappings for all,” he shared. He added that he wants to be part of stories that are exciting and well told.
Four More Shots Please! journey
Dino is currently part of the final season of the popular series 'Four More Shots Please!'. In the show, he plays the love interest of Kirti Kulhari’s character. Speaking about his role, he said, “I would like to think that I'm adding a lot of sexiness, hotness and coolness, and a lot more fun to the show.” The series also stars Sayani Gupta, Bani J, and Maanvi Gagroo.
Looking back at 'Raaz' and 'Aksar'
In another interview, the actor also spoke about how the film industry was very different during his peak years. Dino said that when Raaz and Aksar became hits, there was no social media. People watched films in theatres, and feedback came directly from audiences. He fondly recalled how Raaz reached everyone, “from villages to top-tier cities.”
Fame in the internet age
Comparing then and now, Dino said fame spreads much faster today because of the internet. “Today, people don’t see a film, but they are all over the internet,” he explained. He added that if he had done certain roles in today’s time, the craze would have been massive online. Dino also praised actors like Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol, saying he feels happy for their success and believes they truly deserve it.
