Dilip, Saira open house for Eid!

Hindi film industry’s legendary actor Dilip Kumar and his gorgeous wife Saira Banu have special plans for today.
In an exclusive chat with TOI, Dilip sahab revealed, “We love to celebrate Eid. The food is home-made and that is what makes the Eid special. We do not like to order food from outside as has become a trend with everyone in festivals. I prefer light mutton Biryani which has lesser oil and masala.Korma (chicken palan), home-made dahi adds to the flavour of Biryani. We use khubani (dried apricot) in Biryani which gives it a special sweet n sour flavour. We distribute food to around 70-80 homes every year. Feeding the underprivileged is what gives us immense pleasure. They come to our house, sit and have lunch with us. Our entire family, close friends too visit us. Our celebrations are ‘open house’, like it happens in Diwali. We don’t go out as we want everybody to come see us.”
Dilip sahab and Saira Banu signed off wishing all their fans ‘Eid Mubarak’.
