Dil Chahta Hai still going strong

there was nothing that could have gone wrong with a film like dil chahta hai, with a cast like aamir, saif, akshaye and preity, a director like farhan khan, and a story line that was so out-of-the-box, this movie was just meant to be a roaring success. dil chahta hai will be completing twenty-five weeks and celebrating its silver jubilee this week. kudos to the entire team of dil chahta hai. doing something off the beaten-track, certainly paid off, didn't it? wonder why most filmmakers don't want to break away from the cliche 'masala-mix movies' and try the road less travelled; hum hai naye andaz kyon ho purana, right?
