Addressing the rumors around the Ajay Devgn-led film, the actor shared, "Started shooting for this engaging franchise #Drishyam3 in Hindi. With a wonderful team and a scintillating role to play. I'm sure you will love it. (And yes, I'm not replacing anyone..)"

Reportedly, Akshaye Khanna demanded Rs 21 crore for the third installment of the 'Drishyam' franchise. The makers tried to negotiate with the actor; however, as per the reports, he stopped picking up calls later.
