According to a report in Pinkvilla, one key reason behind the dating rumours was a set of viral images showing Huma and Shikhar in seemingly romantic moments. However, these photos were later exposed as AI-generated fakes. In reality, the two have never been photographed together.



Reportedly, some netizens even falsely claimed that the duo was married, fueled by misleading YouTube thumbnails.

Shikhar’s cameo in Double XL

The buzz began when the cricketer made a cameo appearance in the 2022 film Double XL, starring Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi. In a dream sequence, Dhawan was seen dancing hand-in-hand with Huma in a graceful performance.

Meanwhile, rumours are swirling that the Gangs of Wasseypur actress is currently dating Rachit Singh, an acting coach. The pair reportedly attended her close friend Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to co-star Zaheer Iqbal in 2024, where Rachit was Huma’s date. They were also seen posing for selfies together with friends.



Reportedly, Rachit has worked as an acting coach for stars like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, and Anushka Sharma. Huma Qureshi was previously in a relationship with filmmaker Mudassar Aziz for three years before they parted ways in 2022.
