Did Abhishek Bachchan turn down Aishwarya in his home production 'Lefty'?

After a successful run at the box office with 'Housefull 3', Bollywood's funny-man Abhishek Bachchan is all set to roll out his home production 'Lefty' next year. The film that is touted to be a sci-fi thriller, will be directed by Prabhu Deva and co-produced by Bunty Walia. While Abhishek will take on the leading man's role, the search is on for his leading lady. If reports are anything to go by, then Abhi's wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was keen to step in to play the part, as the film is their home production. However, Abhishek has reportedly instructed his team to look for a younger actress to feature in the film, as he feels that his wife may be 'too mature for the role.'

The story penned by Kona Venkat of 'Ready' fame, will see Bachchan Jr play the role of a super-human of sorts, who sets out to save the city with his special ability to sense trouble with his left hand.
